MIAMI DOLPHINS TRAINING CAMP

I'M STARVING
FEED THE WOLF !!!

LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE !!!!!!!! The day is finally here everyone ! Miami Dolphins Training Camp 2010 is officially open. With so much anticipation the over sized crowd showed up to Nova University in support of Miami's Team (with all respect to the Miami Heat). The last two rookies, 1st Rd Pick Jared Odrick and 2nd Rd Pick Koa Misi, got their contracts finalized just in time to open up camp with the FIRST TEAM unit.  Other notables on the FIRST TEAM of day one were WR Brian Hartline fresh off his traffic citation, OGs John Jerry and Cory Proctor.
I can guarantee everyone wanted to see our new stud WR Brandon Marshall. He did not disappoint! He beat starting CB  Sean Smith twice on long passing plays. This is obviously very exciting news for the offense. QB Chad Henne was also a positive note of Day One with nice crisp throws and often showing some touch on his throws for a change.
Defensively the D-line was somewhat dominated, especially in the middle. I really don't see Randy Starks being able to hold down the fort at DT/NT for the whole season, so Paul Soliai must finally step up. Rookie Koa Misi was manhandled by Jake Long which is no surprise. I'd be disappointed if it were the other way around! OLB Cameron Wake was impressive off the corner as expected. He has that great speed rush and i think with a lot of hard work can be a Pro Bowl player. Yes it is only Day One and they have plenty of time to improve and learn all their new positions.

One other key note : Pat White was MIA. The QB was not present at today's practice. Hmmm ??? ...

  1. Pat White may be out for the first 6 games of the season... citing a non football related issue

  2. Pat white is at practice this morning, those were just rumor. Yesterday's training camp was one of the very first one's in a while where everyone was into it. You can feel the "Swag" or energy in the building.
